Anyone able to make any sense of this other than a failed printer engine? This is a Lexmark X772se that works perfect (scan to email working fine) and a Lexmark X656de that everything works just fine OTHER than scan to email. I did a neat little test you may want to try on your own Lexmark... you can telnet to PRINTER_IP 10000 and you will have a console. I did ping SMTP.Server.com and the working one gets a reply, and the failed one has 100% loss (other pings would pass) Any thoughts?
