I saw this thread on the subject. Not sure it helps much.

Scott,
I de-fragmented it before I got it ready to upload. It dies out right
before it starts copying the blocks. It looks like everything is
going like it should and it clicks to the blue screen for a couple of
seconds but then says "restoring mbr".

Any more ideas?
thanks,
Pam

Pam,

Does it die out with some kind of error? Is it at the stage of "resizing
Partition"?

If so, you may want to Defragment your drive before pulling this image.

I've had problems with uploading a Win 7 box as well. I've run the
fogprep as administrator and it says "update complete" and I turn the
machine off to let the fog server wake it. But when I try to upload,
the process dies out after about 3-4 minutes. When I navigate to
\\images on the fog server the folder size is 0.

Ideas?
TIA,
Pam

You may want to try again to troubleshoot, make sure you run as
administrator (ie: right click on fog prep and select run as
administrator). Then navigate to the command and run it. This will
allow you to confirm that it exits successfully (without errors). The
other thing to make sure is that if you are using the windows sys
partition, that it is only 100MB.

Yes I did. Should I try that again?

Did you run fog prep right before the upload?

After attempting to deploy a Win7 image using Fog, I get this message

Any suggestions?
