To make a long story short... At one point, I had five 1TB drives, in a RAID 5 array. This array is no more, and the drives have been unused for awhile.
I want to use one of the drives (individually), as a backup drive. I¹ve tried multiple tools and ways, but I¹m unable to get any of these drives partitioned or formatted. TOOLS TRIED: --DBAN (LiveCD) --EASEUS Partition Master (LiveCD) --Parted Magic (LiveCD) --Ubuntu (LiveCD) --Acronis Drive Cleanser (LiveCD) --Acronis Disk Director (WinPE) --Windows Disk Management With some of these, the drives aren¹t even recognized. I thought that it might have something to do with the RAID configuration, so I stuck it on the original RAID card attempted to remove any traces of the RAID configuration.
