I've got a bunch of new Dell Optiplex 980's that I'm trying to image using FOG.
I was able to upload the image and deploy it to about 34 machines. However,
I've got a batch of 28 machines that are giving a "Invalid partition table on
/dev/sda -- wrong signature 0" error. They are all supposed to have Win7
licenses with Win XP installed but it seems the batch of 28 may have Win 7
installed.
The Partition information for the working machines is:
Disk /dev/sda: 250GB
Number start end size type file system
1 32.3kB 41.1MB 41.1MB primary fat16
2 41.1MB 248GB 248GB primary ntfs boot
3 248GB 250GB 2139MB extended lba
5 248GB 250GB 2130MB logical fat32 lba
The partition info for the non-working machines is identical except for the
Partition Number 5 (logical -fat32).
Any ideas how to get around this?
Thanks!
