If you want OES services then you need to use SLES10 sp3 OES2 sp1 (?). OES has
not yet been released for SLES 11. If this is just for GroupWise, go with SLES
11 64-bit. The next major release of GroupWise will be SLES only, and 64 bit
only. You do not need OES installed on the GroupWise server as long as you have
eDirectory out there somewhere.

You can download SLES 10 or 11 free, but there are no patch updates available
after 30 days. So, the O/S is free, you are paying for support. If you have an
SLA with Novell for NetWare, SLES and OES is covered.

So then which is the better way to go? I have all of my Netware servers up
and running on OES2. If I wanted to make sure that everything was the same
across the board I would just install the SLES OES 2 right? For right now I
am just going to me testing and making it my GroupWise server. Then over
Christmas or next summer move everything to it.

Last I knew OES 2 was only on SUSE 10?
That's all the netware services running on SLES.

I want to add SUSE to my Netware environment, but there seems to be a couple
of choices that I need to make first. There is SUSE Linux Enterprise 11 and
then there is SLES 10 sp3 in the Novell OES2 list. I am running on a 32 bit
platform and I only see for the version 11 the 64 bit version. Which one is
everyone else running?

Also for licenses what do I need as I thought I read that I need a Novell
license code for Novell stuff and then a Linux code.
