The post that showed CMS cuts of $16.3M - does anyone know - from publicly
posted sources - what percentage of the ICN budget that amounts to?

It would seem to me that it would be impossible to dismantle ICN this quickly,
especially considering the contracts in place with providers. Also, since ICN
plays an important part in the IL RTT grant application, it would seem that
this could potentially cost the state WAY more than it saves. I do, however,
anticipate that our "free" bandwidth is going to vanish rather quickly!

Statewide Cuts

No word yet. In fact people get rather touchy about employees commenting to the
public about these sort of things. I just posted what is already publicly
available.

Chris -

The education cuts in transportation and reading improvement grants have been
known for a couple of weeks or so. Have you heard about what cuts are coming
to ICN?

Thanks
