ok, just ran through the setup and it asked me all kinds of stuff (computer name, domain, etc) taht should have been set already. after it completed I checked adn the sysprep folder was gone.
one thing I did was after I sysprepped it I missed my boot prompt for imaging and the PC started to boot windows but I killed it as soon as the splash screen appeared. that wouldn't have caused any of this woudl it? i will retry and see what happens.
