i had some problems with earlier verseion of iprint on OES1 on linux a
couple years ago but lastest stuff on OES2 has been rock solid for me.

you can restart the iprint services alone with may save you a reboot.

/etc/init.d/novell-idsd restart  (driver store)
/etc/init.d/novell-ipsmd restart (print manager)
