Good tips! Thanks. I already went through and set one up without
integration just to see what it can do. I might like the blog and wiki
part, so I could see maybe tying it in with a Joomla server that will
run our website. Maybe point our site to them for these resources. I
will try the DNS suggestions on the next one and see if I can get it to
play nice with Windows.

Provided these are the new all aluminum versions, they have 7200 drives.

Nope, 2, 500GB

Of course this is possible. Just boot them from a Linux distro CD. I
know they don't have a drive, but they can make use of a drive on any
other computer on the network (Windows of Mac). Or boot from an external
drive (FireWire oar USB) and clone the linux you want on them.

This is most definitely true. If these are running 10.6, they will set
up their own DNS resolving themselves. Since you probably have your own
DNS server running, you should add the server(s) to that DNS, prior to
doing anything else on the Mac server. Then make sure to input that IP
when you initially config the Mac server.
