True on that. My son is a sales rep for Watts Copier Systems and he prides
himself on service believing that is what keeps the customer. Of course I
cannot speak for all of Watts and wouldn’t. Sharp, however, is supposed to be
a very good system. I’ve learned a lot from my son about how other companies
make it look cheaper to buy from them but it is often only up front. A couple
of areas to pay attention to are the cost per page and the maintenance
agreement and how many $ are added to it each year.

We've been very happy with our Sharp copiers. Watts Copy Systems (based out of
Springfield but has offices all over the state) is our vendor. Very responsive
anytime we've needed them. They also do a great job on preventative
maintenance.

Don't forget, when replacing your current copiers, as about what's going to
happen to the hard drives inside them that may contain copies of your scanned
documents.

We are in the process of replacing our current copiers. I have received specs,
quotes, etc from several different manufacturers, including Toshiba, Sharp,
Konica, Xerox, and Ricoh. If you are currently using any of these, I would be
interested in knowing what your experience has been.

I am most interested in how well they stay working, and how tech support has
been when things go wrong. Please feel free to email me off-list if you would
prefer.

Thanks for any help,

 Phil
