We run our own Joomla site:

1. Estimated time to get it set up and running initially.
3-4 Days - being the first time I created a Joomla Site and was early in the
life of Joomla1.5

2. Estimated time spent per week maintaining.
Less than 30 minutes. A little more right before school starts updating
teacher names, etc.
Articles, etc, are written by the principals and secretaries. It takes a
while to get to that point but well worth it.

3. Short description of the hardware you run it on.
DL140 : Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 2.40GHz, 2 cores - 1GB RAM - 80 GB HD

4. Estimate of $ spent on software or add-ons.
$0.00

5. Link to your site for comparison of look and feel.

"I'm trying to teach myself to ask the same questions that you do during
your lectures so that I do not need you any more."

A good teacher is like a candle - it consumes itself to light the way for
others.

"The computer revolution hasn't started yet. Don't be misled by the enormous
flow of money into bad defacto standards for unsophisticated buyers using
poor adaptations of incomplete ideas."

decision. The Superintendent would like to make a direction decision early
next week.
