Some of the vendors are great and I consider them my friends. Some won't
contribute anything if they can't make a buck off of it. If for example I
might be asking questions about IPCop and a guy calls and wants to sell me a
$5000 solution to my problem, I don't like that. 
I also asked on here one time if anyone used clickers in the classroom. A
few days later the Quizdom Clicker guy calls and been stalking me ever
since.

I love the lurkers that Tom mentioned. I guess some people are bored with
their lives and need to report back to others. Last spring when I thought my
job would be cut to part-time, I made some comments on here about it. I
guess a few found it necessary to report it to a few who are not on this
list about it for whatever reason.

I have not had a problem with the vendors on this list.  I know they  
exist.  I know who some of them are.  And some of them participate in  
a very positive way.  If they want to call and propose a solution for  
a problem that I have posted here, I don't have a problem with that.

If a particular vendor becomes a major problem then we can always  
"Adam K" them..........
