For sure there are lurkers on the list. Just a few months ago we were talking about refurb companies and I had mentioned I had never heard of a particular vendor.
Two days later I get a call from them ..."out of the blue". I also remember some lurker putting his "off on vacation" flag on and we were able to trace him back to a law firm in Florida. You have to remember how important we are :P SCott ________________________________________ From: [email protected] [[email protected]] On Behalf Of McKay, Curtis [[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, August 26, 2010 9:09 PM To: Tech-Geeks Mailing List Subject: Re: [tech-geeks] Vendors on this list For the record that particular person unsubscribed themself. Techgeeks kicking this person off of the list has kind of become a techgeek urban legend that sounds cool so people like to talk about it. I know they exist. I know who some of them are. And some of them participate in a very positive way. If they want to call and propose a solution for a problem that I have posted here, I don't have a problem with that. If a particular vendor becomes a major problem then we can always "Adam K" them.......... Quoting "Steele, Thomas C" <[email protected]>: > I would bet money on that.
