We do have Cat5e and 10/100 switches.

Subject: Re: [tech-geeks] The Speed of FOG
I, too, have someone helping with the FOG details so that I don't have
to deal with it right now. I only know what he has told me -- and we
are only doing two at a time. It will become more crucial when we do
the laptop cart soon instead of the groups of 4 desktops per
classroom.
6 Gig in 10 minutes to 10 machines seems pretty good! What kind of
infrastructure do you have? CAT-5 and typical 10/100 switches?
If you present our problem as stated to your student helper on Monday,
I wonder if he would have any ideas.
