Do you still have your instructions for setting up ident posted
somewhere? And will they work with version 1.4.21? I think it is time
I got this set up.

Without an auth mechanism, everybody would just be group1 because
there's nothing to put somebody into group 2.

I thought that is what I was doing...putting youtube.com in group 2
whitelist. But it seems to open youtube.com in group 1 also. Do I have
to be using authentication or ident features to specify who is in group?

Check the config files for your groups and make sure they aren't
sharing the
same whitelist file...because you can do that if you want.

I am trying to use DansGuardian filter groups to allow teachers to
access youtube.com while keeping students locked out. Have any of you
had success with this? Wanting to keep filter group 1 (default) tight
and put certain teachers in group 2 (expanded access) but when I put
youtube.com in the whitelist for group 2, now group 1 also has access.
