Our district changed to another Internet provider this summer along with increasing our bandwidth. This also meant changing our public IP address range, DNS records, reverse look-up, forward look-up, and so on. Apparently the IP address range we were given had been entered in a few of the major spam databases most of which our provider was able to have removed. Well, there is always the exception..... Our IP range is apparently still on a database called SORBS which is used by an e-mail provider of someone one of our teachers wishes to communicate with. Our Internet provider has submitted requests to be removed that are not being processed. The entry in sorbs has an entry date in 2003! Have any of you had to deal with this?
