That’s what I do when I help my mom. I’ve had to connect to her machine at least twice in the past month to help her with one thing or another. A little over a month ago I had a conference call between my mom and my uncle (her brother) and I was connected to both of their computers at the same time. They both use a genealogy application and she wanted his saved information on one of the familys. My uncle wasn’t sure what file to send her so I had to go searching for it and then do a transfer from his machine to mine and then to my mom’s machine. So much fun!

I am going to try to help my mom this evening. I am going to go with Teamviewer. I like their quick connect - I'll share a link with her and have her read a string of numbers back to me...we will be on the phone already anyhow... --Michael T.
