Well - actually I don't really have to think about it personally since I am no 
longer working for a school district. But wanted to make sure that point was 
brought up.

I have been on both "sides" of the fence, Novell and MS. Each has their good 
point and their bad points, as with any piece of software or OS. You just have 
to learn how to make what you have work for you. I just worry that a lot of 
districts are going to be taken advantage of by consulting firms that are just 
looking for a buck. I am not saying that these firms should not make money, but 
need to do it honestly and without promising what they can't deliver.

I would be sad to see Novell go away, they did have some good pieces and the 
NOS side was rather stable.
