I have the same problem here at Iwest. The problem just started this
school year as far as I can tell.

Thomas Steele said that he had to upgrade his Cymphonix box to allow the
new itunes store URL to pass. Apparently, some filters aren't
recognizing the new URL as valid.

Chris Franzen says he has 2 users still using the itunes store and he is
running IPCop.

Dylan Haines is also running IPCOP 1.4.18 and is able to use the itunes
store without issue.

However, Eric Roemer cannot access the itunes store.

Subject: [tech-geeks] iTunes Store

Would anyone have any guesses as to why I can't get to the iTunes store
from inside the district? One of the teachers purchased something on
iTunes she wants to use. I can't connect with her computer or with any
other (including a brand new one out of the box w/ no AV on it). I'm
running IPCop as my filter, and I'm thinking that it could be the
problem, however I did give a computer unfiltered access and still had
the same problem. When I try to connect to iTunes Store, I get "iTunes
could not connect to the iTunes Store. Make sure your network connection
is active and try again." I'm also getting blocked from a Mac that used
to be able to connect.

Thanks for any help.
