Kudos to Jewel Legan (Donovan CUDS) for finding the solution to this problem.
The issue is a an update in iTunes 9.1 and 9.11 getting rejected because of an extra period ('.') at the end of the request URL. The solution is to download the new DansGuardian 2.10.1.1 which has patched this, allowing URLs that end with a period ('.') http://home.earthlink.net/~copplus/ http://dansguardian.org/downloads/2/Stable/ Ron Egolf, MCSE Network Analyst, Area IV LTC Rantoul, IL 217-893-1431 (O) 217-841-4311 (C) reg...@area4.k12.il.us "When trouble arises and things look bad, there is always one individual who perceives a solution and is willing to take command. One of the teachers purchased something on iTunes she wants to use. I can't connect with her computer or with any other (including a brand new one out of the box w/ no AV on it). I'm running IPCop as my filter, and I'm thinking that it could be the problem, however I did give a computer unfiltered access and still had the same problem. When I try to connect to iTunes Store, I get "iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store. Make sure your network connection is active and try again." I'm also getting blocked from a Mac that used to be able to connect. Thanks for any help. Joe Joe Schall, Technology Coordinator Iroquois County CUSD 9 Watseka, IL 60970 815-432-3010
