Dan,

We started to implement self password policies last year and so far it has
worked very well. I started at our smallest school for just the teachers and
once that location was completed went to the next largest and so on. We also
added all incoming Freshman to the password policy and required them to change
their password at their initial login. We are going at this slowly but so far
it has worked very well.

I would be happy to discuss further if you are interested.

I have never implemented a password change policy since usually even a mention
of changing a teachers password is grounds for death, but I think I am going to
risk it.

What does everyone else do for their password policy?

I am not looking at drastically making everyone change passwords, but would
like to put something out. I am looking at starting at 180 days for the
student management system and 360 days for computer login.

Thanks,

Dan
