Thanks, Sandy. I think we have decided that the simple graphs in GradeQuick will do the job for now. I thought Sp Ed wanted the graphs every week, but it turns out they only need them once a quarter and for EDC meetings.

How often is the Special Education teacher asking for the information? Do they want the information by teacher or overall performance? The simple way is to export the information out to Excel. If within Gradebook, you mark the students who are a part of Special Education, you can easily sort the two groups out. This will allow more flexibility in your graphing/charting abilities. You may want to set some standards if you are going to do this by teacher?

Subject: [tech-geeks] New Special Ed requirements (EDC and RtI) esp. graphing

My Special Ed teachers are asking me to help find a way for the
classroom teachers to easily graph a comparison of the Special Ed
students with their classmates. We use GradeQuick as our electronic
gradebook and it can do some simple graphs/charts but I was looking
for something a little more sophisticated without putting an undue
burden on the classroom teachers.

Has anyone else been asked to assist with these new requirements? Any
suggestions would be appreciated.
Tammy
