I use TempAlert. Sends me a email if temp goes above 80 or below 60. You can
configure it to whatever temperature you want. I know 80 is a bit high but
my "State of the Art" cooling system isn't great. I would set the threshold
lower but you will get a email every 10 minutes while it is out of the
range. I was on vacation this summer and got about 1000 emails telling me it
was 80 in the server room and nowhere near a pc to remote in to set the
threshold higher.

If I look for data center thermal alert products on google I get way too
many choices.

 

For simple basic heat monitoring to start off with, anybody have a low cost
product they recommend?
