In the past, I know that a two-disk RAID 1 would mirror, but the ³master²
drive would be the only bootable device.  Then, when the ³master² drive
failed, you would swap drive positions, and the ³mirrored² drive would then
be bootable.  Is this still the case, or is RAID 1 now smart enough to
automatically switch the boot device to the "mirrored" drive?
