Yeah, I agree.  The whole "this cost figure presumes large 
institutional/governmental purchase" bit is just ludicrous.  Personally, I 
think they should have left the cost figure out of it.  I'd not be a bit 
surprised to see that the first prototype costs $300 without the "economies of 
scale" they presume to exist.
