Did you use readdledocs by readdle for this? Was the option to sync with the dropbox account part of the config from within readdledocs? Funny Thing, I just configured this very thing today... Here's what I did: configured a dropbox account. From there, downloaded Readdle and synced with the dropbox account that I just created. Voila, Things I posted to my dropbox automatically sync with Readdle (Readdle also supports Google Docs). I'll be honest, It was the simplest setup... Readdle allows the usage of notes/highlighting text/etc... As for Provisioning, I haven't decided what to do with that yet. Goodluck! I've seen the State Supt's podcast about Troy using Readdle Docs, and that's fine for reading/storing, but is anyone using another solution, especially for distribution? I'm wondering if anyone's used a shared Dropbox account, or possibly a similar option where the files are pushed straight to the iPads. The only drawback I can see to Dropbox at the moment is they couldn't annotate docs. I'm also looking at Evernote, especially if there's a way they can tie the accounts together. It might also be a good way for them to take notes because they could tag their meeting notes as appropriate with content rather than have to try to remember what days they discussed what topics. Also, are you provisioning and managing the iPads yourself, or are you allowing the board members to take them home and manage them? I know if we used paid apps like Readdle we'll need to have them on a shared iTunes account so we can pay once and push the app out, but we also want them to experiment with the iPad and play with it so they're familiar with them if we get to a point in the future we want to purchase iPads for classrooms or students.
