Looks like Evernote is out. It syncs the PDF just fine for reading, but if they
want to take notes they lose the PDF file. Evernote on the iPad sees it as a
"rich text note" and says you can either append to the note (in which case you
get blank page to type on) or you can trash it and copy the content to a plain
text note (in which case the PDF is apparently trashed).

With Readdle, can you also annotate the PDFs? Or take notes with them visible?

And now for some reason the PDF isn't showing up in my Dropbox.

The superintendent has a public folder that he shared with me. I went into the
public folder, copied a PDF file to my Dropbox via the web interface. It then
showed up right away on my laptop. However, I'm not getting it on my iPad. It's
a 4.4MB file, so I gave it some time and had the little circle spinning, but
the PDF hasn't showed up yet. Plenty of other PDFs in my Dropbox are still
showing up fine, though. Only difference I can see is it's copied from my
superintendent's public folder. Have you run into this problem before?

Mike
