I have a problem that is rather perplexing with a Windows 7 desktop that 
applications such as Windows Explorer and Microsoft are bombing shortly after 
you open them.  For instance, can open Windows Explorer and, within a few 
seconds, get a pop-up window that "Windows Explorer has stopped working.  
Windows can check online for a solution......"  You are offered the choices of 
having it check online for a solution and restarting the program or just 
restarting the program neither of which work and it doesn't.  Sometimes 
rebooting the machine will fix the issue for a while, but now it is starting to 
affect other applications as well.
 
Anyone run across this problem and have any ideas or suggestions?  Looks like 
it will need to be re-imaged, but wanted to check first in case it is a known 
issue.
