Thanks, Chris, appears to be related to a problem with CALWIN32.DLL. Sincerely
appreciate the suggestion.

Possible issue with your antivirus software? Did you look in the event logs to
see if it gave you any clues to the crashes?

I have a problem that is rather perplexing with a Windows 7 desktop that
applications such as Windows Explorer and Microsoft are bombing shortly after
you open them. For instance, can open Windows Explorer and, within a few
seconds, get a pop-up window that "Windows Explorer has stopped working.
Windows can check online for a solution......" You are offered the choices of
having it check online for a solution and restarting the program or just
restarting the program neither of which work and it doesn't. Sometimes
rebooting the machine will fix the issue for a while, but now it is starting to
affect other applications as well.
Anyone run across this problem and have any ideas or suggestions? Looks like it
will need to be re-imaged, but wanted to check first in case it is a known
issue.
Thanks,
Tim
