I had a Timex. Actually built it from a kit. Didn't work but for a ridiculously 
small amount you coulees send it to them and get it fixed. Found out years 
later from an engineer in the know that the video section of the board was so 
packed you needed great equipment and meticulous technique (neither of which I 
had) to avoid a solder bridge.

Got it back and my kids had a lot of fun connected to the tv
