Sure. They might have concerns depending on which version of SQL Server you have (free or the full-blown sql server). We actually have a dedicated SQL Server for our Student Mgmt Database. We installed the Destiny app on this SQL server. The db is in the SQL Server, and the front-end runs on the same machine.

Our front-end for Student Mgmt is a different machine.
