With UEFI you start with genfb.
With BIOS there are three possibilities (ignoring the ega driver or
pcconsole):
- VGA text mode (the default)
- VGA graphics mode (if compiled with option VGA_RASTERCONSOLE)
- VESA graphics mode with genfb.
