Hi all
I am using AMD 2000 processor running on ASUS motherboard. I have installed
redhat 9 , Win XP and win98. I have 56Kbps internal modem installed.I could
connect to internet using this modem in XP and 98. But in linux, I could not
connect to net using this modem. I have used query modem in KPPP. But it
tells that modem is busy or modem is not responding. How to map between com
ports and linux port listings ( Linus lists ports as ttys1 ).
I have installed the RPMs came with modem CD. ( PcTel corp.)
Can anybody help me in this issue????
