I'm on mac osx, and I have used Safari, but not as in depth or as rigorously as I've used Firefox and Opera. I mainly use it to test out webpages for compatibility reasons. I do all of my development using Firefox. I haven't had any troubles with Safari, except that some of the colors and images I use look a bit messed up. Ex. I've had experiences where I'll create a png (8 bit, no transparency) using a background color of #666666 (in pshop). Then I use the image on the site with a background-color style of #666666. On Firefox and Opera you can't see the image, however on Safari there is a definite difference and as a result I had to use a gif instead.
BTW, On my sites, I no longer support IE because I too don't really consider it a browser anymore. Hope this helps some, EB On 5/8/05, rama <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > yes can somebody really throw something in abt safaris > > > > > ________________________________ > Yahoo!
