Hi,

I'm a student at ESAT/KULeuven, Belgium. In the view of our thesis, we
were considering implementing a one-way mix-master protocol into Freenet, to
provide some degree of Publisher anonymity and/or improve Reader
anonymity. Publish or Retrieve operations would traverse a mix net chain
before entering the Freenet system.

We are also investigating the way to do it. Should we opt for an
SMTP->Freenet stub (so we can use the existing Mix-master net), or try to
conceive a 'mix-master'-alike protocol? Would the SMTP->Freenet stub
involve considerable performance issues?

We noticed this idea has come up several times before, but we were
wondering if someone has worked on it already.

Any remarks/advice are very welcome!
