Forgive the ignorant question, but what exactly is wrong with 
Sourceforge again?

I've had issues with them hosting SVN/CVS before, and I don't agree with 
all of their policies.. But it seems like high-bandwidth file hosting is 
what they do best... It may be worth looking into again.

Another choice is talking with archive.org
