What are you folks using for full system backups? The goals are to backup
everyone's whole laptop, regularly (at least once a day) in the background
while their system is running. Must be able to specify optional excludes,
such as their music or videos directory etc.

We were using Acronis True Image up till 2010. It has always been buggy,
but now that 2011 is out, it's downright unstable and unusable. Their
support is an abomination.

Yesterday, I built 3 fresh new machines, created the "golden image" for each
one. Then I tested a restore... Zeroed the hard drives, and restored the
backups. The results were:

One system unbootable. Bluescreen.

One system boots up, but totally wonky. Random error messages, some of the
control panel items disappeared, etc.

One system appears normal. But I'm skeptical because of the other two.
