It's cheaper than average, to boot.
Lefthand seems to be cool stuff and has a lot of functionality beyond a basic disk array, but we found it to be more expensive than average when we compared it to things like the IBM DS3400 and HP MSA2000 series, even when looking at the software-based version instead of the hardware shelf. It wasn't *much* more expensive, but it was a little higher in price. We didn't need the additional functionality since our application was a single shelf of homogeneous drives with two ESX hosts attached, so we went with the cheaper IBM and HP MSA arrays. This was early last year, so pricing may certainly have changed over time. -Adam _______________________________________________ Tech mailing list [email protected] https://lists.lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tech This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
