If the servers and data *really* matter to you, I recommend looking into FedEx White Glove Services (http://customcritical.fedex.com/us/services/white-glove/default.shtml) The service is expensive but you can get features like: - lockable shipping container, locked with your own lock - dedicated packing and transportation crews. the crew that shows up at location A will drive the shipment all the way to location B, no intermediate handlers, etc. - temperature controlled containers We shipped several racks worth of servers cross country with this service a few years ago. It was business critical system that had to be back up and running by a specific date.
