Well... you can certainly quote him a price for doing this, since it
will take probably 10-15 minutes/cable end to:

     - cut to length
     - install new plug
     - test and certify it works

Might be faster or slower than my guesstimate, but esp for 120V (or
higher) power cords, you want to be sure you got it right.  Figure out
your labor cost and give him a quote.

I bet he'll faint and ask for something cheaper.  Then suggest a mix
of standard length cables installed neatly, with out any cutting.
