We have a cx4-480 that we recently put into production. Our other storage is EMC Symmetrix, and this was my first experience w/ the CX boxes. We were up and running (with some consulting help from EMC) in about 4 hours. We're doing both iSCSI and Fibre Channel--FC for the production database cluster and iSCSI back to another datacenter to mount a 3rd mirror we use for backups. Not having played wih Equallogic, I can't compare it, but I can say that the CX gear had a decent gui and cli and configuring it was pretty straightforward (but then again, I'm used to working with Syms). -j _______________________________________________ Tech mailing list [email protected] http://lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tech This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
