We were in the middle of purchasing a Powerfile bluray archival system late last year (but funding got cut at the last moment). It's basically a linux box that exports via CIFS or NFS, has a set of stackable jukeboxes, and a caching module for getting the data on and off. http://www.powerfile.com/ It might be worth checking out depending on how much data you're talking about (these will do 140TB uncompressed in 42U).
