Exactly.  Too often companies confuse server reliability with high 
availability.

If a company says they can't possibly take the server down[1] then they 
need HA because sooner or later it will come down whether they like it or 
not.  If HA exists then individual nodes within a cluster can be taken 
down safely and rebooted/replaced or whatever.

[1] I've heard this too often.
