I once worked at a company where my boss was proud his server had been up
over 3 years.  We needed to relocate the office, and just for the sake of
geeking out, he wheeled that server, complete with UPS, to the new building
without rebooting it.

Hehehe.  I agree, horrible idea.

He left the company, I got his job, and a month later I scheduled a
network-wide reboot and update of all devices.  ;-)
