Well, there are a few things going on here I think.  First and foremost, 
the admin needs to understand the ramifications of what he's doing.

It bugs me a little bit that moving the directory still keeps the snapshot 
state from before the move available, but then from *that directory's* 
reference frame it does make sense.

We can kind of look at it as the NetApp snapshots dealing with 
relativistic frames of reference.  :)
