Hi, I need to provide a file server, with a good level of auditing. At a minimum I need to audit file creation, file access, and file deletion.
The clients will be Windows, so it would be easiest to offer the data as a CIFS share, though the PCs also have a Novell client on them. (The auditing needs to be done at the server end.) I am neutral about server OS. Has anyone tried this? I have been pointed in the direction of SNARE on SuSE Open Enterprise Serverm exporting Novell shares, but I would like to hear some success stories before going in any particular direction. Many thanks, Jonathan. _______________________________________________ Tech mailing list [email protected] http://lopsa.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/tech This list provided by the League of Professional System Administrators http://lopsa.org/
