i chose a text that was a kind of best fit. otherwise people adding to this page will just paste in some text block, and it will go higgledy-piggledy. in this case, i think we can avoid worrying too much about putting an indefinite article in front of "the one and only interface that is carp". if anyone can come up with a better alternative, that we can use more or less with all interfaces, i'm all ears. jmc
