This is a preliminary report. I am available to test and report further. This problem exists with current bsd.rd amd64.
I have an internal HD identified as wd0. A few slices have been grouped together for /usr/local on sd0 via softraid(4) CONCAT. After booting from bsd.rd I drop to shell, cd /dev, sh MAKEDEV sd1 and then use bioctl to assemble a CRYPTO partition on wd0 where my install packages are located. Installation works with no errors. This additional softraid CRYPTO partition is assigned to sd1. Upon typing reboot the system syncs disks and then crashes with uvm_fault errors. This only occurs when a softraid partition is assembled on sd1. It does not occur when sd0 is the only assembled softraid partition. sd1 does not have to be mounted, it only has to be assembled for the crash to occur. This happens with the bsd.rd in current as well as my own bsd.rd builds.
