With Hotmail mail being a totally different animal from POP (HTTP), there are
no known (to me anyway) POP/SMTP settings. Outlook Express (v. 5+) has to
capability of checking HTTP mail accounts. To do so, you just need to setup a
new account and input the HTTP server's URL into the account settings.
The URL for Hotmail, as found in an account as described above, is
http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail/httpmail.asp
Hope this helps.
Respectfully submitted,

Subject: [Techgeeks] Hotmail Question
Techs
We block Hotmail so students will not e-mail all day, but I have a few
teachers that would like to
use it, and they "roam" from computer to computer across 2 buildings. I
would like to set their
POP3 e-mail program (Pegasus) to get the hotmail, but I can not find any POP3
or SMTP URL
information on their site. I tried hotmail.com, but that did not work.
Anyone know the POP3 URl
for Hotmail?
