Hi TB! Here's the support statements for Ubuntu Studio and Edubuntu, which are echoed on the Ubuntu Studio website and the Edubuntu release notes.

Ubuntu Studio:

 * Our support plan is limited to the Ubuntu Studio package set which
is generally updates and bugfixes to the multimedia packages we
include, as well as our own developed utilities (Ubuntu Studio
Installer, Ubuntu Studio Audio Configuration, etc.).
 * We also assist Kubuntu with bugfixes from time to time for the
desktop environment and KDE application packages as needed.
 * Most packages come from Debian and are maintained upstream.
 * We also backport many packages to the backports repository for
   inclusion there.
 * Bugs are filed against Ubuntu packages in Launchpad.
 * LTS Support is for three years.

Edubuntu:

 * Our support is limited to the educational and instructional packages
we include as well as our own developed utilities (e.g. Edubuntu
Installer, Edubuntu Menu Admin) as well as any GNOME extensions we
   provide (gnome-shell-extensions-alphabetical-menu)
 * The desktop environment is maintained by the Ubuntu Desktop team as
Edubuntu is mostly an add-on to the Ubuntu Minimal seed.
 * Most applications come from Debian and are maintained upstream.
 * GNOME packages not maintained by the Ubuntu Desktop team are
maintained by the Debian GNOME team. We work closely with members of
the Debian GNOME team for advice and bugs on these packages.
 * Bugs are filed against Ubuntu packages in Launchpad.
 * LTS Support is for three years.
